Representaciones discursivas del 12 de octubre en el diario La Gaceta de Tucumán (Argentina): propuesta metodológica

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene el objetivo de exponer una propuesta metodológica para estudiar las representaciones sociales y discursivas de la efeméride del 12 de octubre en el diario La Gaceta (LG) de Tucumán-Argentina. Los modos en que las personas sim-bolizan el mundo a partir del sistema lingüístico permiten comprender cómo, a través de la prensa, ciertas esferas dominantes buscan cooptar y moldear ideologías. Asimismo, las efemérides son uno de los dispositivos clave de la vida social que en-traman instituciones, memorias, discursos y sujetos, y, por lo tanto, condicionan lo pensable, lo decible y lo visible. La muestra se compone de noticias a propósito de la conmemoración del 12 de octubre publicadas en el diario desde su fundación (1917) hasta la actualidad (2022), de esta forma más de cien años permiten comprender los vaivenes de las representaciones sobre la efeméride en vinculación con el orden discursivo. Cada una de las decisiones tomadas para el diseño del estudio y el pro-ceso de escritura y divulgación de los resultados aspiran a esclarecer los vínculos entre representaciones sociales y discursivas, configuraciones identitarias y estructuras sociales. Asimismo, se busca contribuir al estudio de los discursos sobre las memorias en el marco de la prensa escrita.This work aims to present a methodological proposal to study the social and discursive representations of the anniversary of October 12 in the newspaper La Gaceta (LG) of Tucumán-Argentina. The ways in which people symbolize the world based on the linguistic system allow us to understand how, through the press, certain dominant spheres seek to coopt and shape ideologies. Likewise, anniversaries are one of the key devices of social life that weave together institutions, memories, discourses and subjects, and, therefore, they condition what is thinkable, what is sayable and what is visible. The sample is made up of news regarding the commemoration of October 12 published in the newspaper from its foundation (1917) to the present (2022), in this way, more than one hundred years allow us to understand the ups and downs of the representations of the anniversary in connection with the discursive order. Each of the decisions made for the design of the study, the process of writing and disseminating the results aspire to clarify the links between social and discursive representations, identity configurations and social structures. Likewise, it seeks to contribute to the study of discourses on memories within the framework of the written press.
