Tucumán Arde: la estética de una época

Abstract

Éste trabajo aborda las particularidades de la vanguardia plástica Argentina de los años ´60 y el contexto histórico en el que surge. El arte, entendido como herramienta legítima para el cambio social, no solo llevó a una modificación estética, sino conceptual, evidenciando el lugar político que ocupó el arte en la modernidad. Tucumán Arde sintetiza la radicalización política del arte plástico de esos años, que intentó romper con ciertos hábitus establecidos: se puso en jaque el rol del espectador, las creaciones individuales y la forma de circulación y difusión de la obra de arte.This paper addresses the particularities of the 60´s plastic art in Argentina and the historical context in which it arises. Art, understood as a legitimate tool for social change, not only in a change in aesthetic, but conceptual, demonstrating the political place occupied in modern art. Tucumán Arde synthesizes the political radicalization of the plastic art of those years, which try to break with certain habitus established: it was check the role of the viewer, the individual creations the form of circulation and dissemination of the work of art.
