The article sets off to analyze labor conflicts in Aerolíneas Argentinas company during the two state administrations spanning the years 2009-2019, a period in which economic, political, and institutional changes influenced the dynamics of labor relations. This temporal scope includes a first stage initiated after the re-nationalization of the flagship airline at the end of 2008, corresponding to the administration led by the Kirchnerism government (2009-2015), and a second stage opened with the change of government in December 2015, covering the administration led by Cambiemos (2016-2019). The main hypothesis asserts that the unions operating in Aerolíneas carried out dissimilar strategies, which were primarily influenced by the relationship maintained with the company's management. This relationship was shaped by the political positioning of the union leaders with respect to the government’s party.
