The objective of this article is to analyze and discuss the 2013 College Take as one of the forms of political participation of young people in Tucumán, Argentina. For this reason, we propose a historical review of the contemporary student youth movements that allow us to trace and understand the history of the Take as a social practice and then focus on the specific case of the student protest carried out by students of the National University of Tucumán in 2013 as a forceful measure, demanding the fulfillment of a series of complaints related to: security, gender violence, university canteen and student bus ticket. We will refer, therefore, to the discursive forms of youth visibility that were manifested during this process. This implies considering the sociological, communicative and ideological aspects that underlie the subjective construction of youth, as well as the representations of their social status.
