This work is aimed to analyze some keys of the unpublished collected letters from Américo Castro (Cantagalo, 1885 - Lloret de Mar, 1972) to Ricardo Rojas (San Miguel de Tucumán, 1882 - Buenos Aires, 1957), between 1921 and 1936. These letters work both as a dispositive (Agamben, 2007) and as a laboratory of ideas (Maíz, 2018): besides of the reasoning between two key tutorial characters related to the clear fact of giving institutional thread to the philological studies in Argentina, these letters show also the dynamic of the academical and intellectual tides between both sides of the Atlantic through travels and institutional setups as well as evidence the expectations and requirements of the epistolar character of the subjects. Intended, in this way, to binding some writing moments (Antières, 2019) or temporal sequences during which objects and practices of an individual and professional career are gathered together, relating them in this way to a wider scope; and at the same time binding also Spanish influence not only in the building of philological studies in Argentina but also in certain political-cultural events that resounded in the correspondence.
