Arturo Frondizi´s presidential campaign and, later, his government, brought together several figures from the left culture in Argentina but was also a cause of dispute, as the case of the National Left led by Jorge Abelardo Ramos exposes. The frondicismo´s victory forced Ramos and his group to take sides in a context in which the project and the figure of Frondizi incited increasing interest and support from part of the young and intellectual left but also of peronism. The analysis of the interventions of Ramos group regarding frondicismo not only allows to shed some light on a significant but little known moment of the National Left history, but also implies an insight of the state of sensibility the argentinian left was going through towards the ending of the 1950 decade.
