This article proposes a theoretical-pedagogical articulation between Argentine regional dramaturgies characterized by a “will toward otherness” and Latin American critical pedagogies of alterity. The study develops the notion of “threshold reading” as a poetic-aesthetic and critical-reflective experience grounded in the principles of dialogicity, conscientization, and utopia. Within this framework, and drawing on the contributions of the “round” as a didactic strategy, the reading of dramaturgical texts from Patagonia and Northwestern Argentina is conceived as a performative and liminal event that fosters cognitive ways of being-with others.
