Las concepciones sobre la Educación Física de Alejandro Amavet: Un análisis desde su trayectoria entre el Ejército y la Universidad. (1928-1973)

Abstract

Este artículo posa la mirada en la trayectoria y en las concepciones que promovió Alejandro Amavet a lo largo de su carrera en el Ejército, en agencias estatales y en la Universidad Nacional de La Plata. El análisis de los enfoques conceptuales de sus producciones, nos abren múltiples ventanas para comprender a esta figura en singular pero también contribuye en términos más amplios a las producciones que se adentran en la historia de la Educación Física y las relaciones entre las matrices civiles y militares en la cultura física. Para cumplir este estudio, analizamos diferentes fuentes documentales, entre las que se encuentran los artículos de revista que fue publicando, los programas de las materias y documentos de cátedra, el legajo militar, entre otros. El recorrido, visibiliza diferentes momentos de la obra del autor y permite vislumbrar como se enfatizó en los últimos años de su labor, entendiendo que era expresiva de una matriz humanística disociada de su trayectoria militar.This article looks at the trajectory and ideas that Alejandro Amavet promoted throughout his career in the Army, in state agencies and at the La Plata National University. The analysis of the conceptual approaches of his productions opens us multiple windows to understand this figure in the singular but also contributes in broader terms to the productions that delve into the history of physical education and the relationships between civil and military matrices in physical culture. To carry out this study, we analyzed different documentary sources, among which are the journal articles that were published, the curricula of the subjects and documents of the professors, the military file, among others. The tour visualizes different moments of the author's work and allows us to glimpse how it was emphasized in the last years of his work, understanding that it was expressive of a humanistic matrix dissociated from his military career.
