The objective of the article is to recover the strategies associated with local food practices and meanings, by a social organization located in Piray Km. 18, province of Misiones, Argentina, which disputes access to the forestry agribusiness. common goods. Conceptually, it is nourished by the decolonial perspective, to trace the relationships between a prevailing productive system, which exploits, makes invisible, and alterizes food knowledge and practices, in the face of local strategies to claim them. Methodologically, it is based on the ethnographic approach and Participatory Action Research (PAR). The tools used were participant observation, semi-structured interviews, informal talks, observant participation and food mapping. Among the main results, it emerges that food practices and their meanings constitute an insurgent political act, since, even recognizing the threat of devastating forest monoculture, they do not stop generating resistance strategies, in different spaces of action: the street, the farms and, specially, the kitchens. Among the conclusions, it is highlighted that food constitutes a vehicle of struggle that allows us to confront the epistemic framework of the current food regime, putting into play worldviews and other ways of existing, as alternatives outside colonial domains.
