The objective was to develop panel prototypes for potential uses as cladding for both horizontal and vertical enclosures (ceilings, wall cladding or panels, etc.) in homes, reusing plastic waste in Greater Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina. This is part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, specifically Goal 12, "Responsible Consumption and Production". After systematizing the properties and benefits associated with plastic waste in construction, analyses and visits to plastic reuse points in the city were carried out. The plastic waste with the lowest output in construction is Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE), so a reuse alternative was developed within the framework of the circular economy. The first prototypes and tests were generated (currently, thermal conductivity and water absorption), to subsequently compare them with different prototype results from other research projects.
