The climatic features of the region require that buildings introduce additional air conditioning systems in order to satisfy user comfort. This affects the energy efficiency of the building and indoor environmental quality. The research aims to introduce the user behaviour and its level of compliance with the objective of establishing efficiency potential through the correlation of objective and subjective data. To that end, a field study by spot-monitoring measurements with sensors and surveys in three critical periods of the year is carried out. The evaluation is made compared to international reference standards (DIN EN 13779, 2007; ISO 7730, 2006). Based on the proposed requirements in 95% of cases, medium and high air quality and an annual thermal acceptance of -0.30 are obtained, on ASHRAE 7-point scale; that is, acceptable mean comfort level.
