In this work we propose to reconstruct expressions of students located in the right of the ideological field, in a medium-duration period that covers the last Argentine military dictatorship and the democratic return (1976-1986) in the National University of Cuyo, the most important university in the province of Mendoza, Argentina. For this research we sought to identify the main positions of the organized right-wing student body through a review of student magazines that were published during the selected period. We have also consulted other sources, such as the local press. We observe that right-wing expressions within the student movement, despite not necessarily being the majority, have been sustained over time, although their speeches presented some variations according to the demands that the sociohistorical context imposed. In this way, during the last Argentinian dictatorship, the student right in Cuyo appeared strongly linked to the facto authorities and the discursive tone was markedly anti-communist and clerical. On the other hand, during normalization and opening of democracy, accompanied by the emergence of new rightwing expressions, the discourses that emphasized the "anti-political" and "anti-party" qualities of self-styled "independent" student groups stood out, whose main antagonist was reformism.
