This paper presents a situated history of lesbian activism in the city of La Plata: the collective Malas como las Arañas (Bad as Spiders) (2007-2021). The empirical approach included indepth interviews and a documentary record of their political and artistic interventions. The analysis of the continuities and discontinuities established with the women's movement and the local LGBTTTQ collective reveals an unconventional form of activism that, through the shared consumption of culture, sought to create local lesbian narratives, reflect on personal experiences, and generate theory based on experience.
