Contemporary conditions of production have brought new interventions in the space of language. This techno-linguistic revolution, shaped by processes of globalization, transnationalization and regional integration, impacts on the idea of Nation-State, and by the preeminence of the new technologies of the word, especially digital ones, leads to the realization of new normative linguistic instruments. As a part of a research project that aims to understand and explain the relationships between linguistic instruments and sociohistorical transformations, this article observes, from a glottopolitical approach, the features of a new series of hybrid instruments of Spanish language published in recent years since they are characterized by regulating not only language practices but also discursivities. We will therefore examine the ideological representations of language that underlie certain areas of the corpus sensitive to the demands of today’s world.
