Organización de inmigrantes en la región de La Plata: Asociacionismo y formas de visibilización/ participación en la arena pública

Abstract

Este artículo refiere a un proyecto de investigación que explora y analiza la presencia y características de asociaciones (tomando como parámetro la composición nacional/ étnico-regional) de migrantes de origen latinoamericano en el área de La Plata y Gran La Plata, indagando sus dimensiones generales, características organizacionales y profundizando sobre la existencia de criterios y estrategias de configuración identitaria, visibilización y participación en la arena pública. En este marco, apuntamos aquí a problematizar sobre los siguientes aspectos de tales asociaciones: condiciones de formalización y legitimidad, formas de nominación, actividades que realizan, y relaciones y estrategias comunicacionales que despliegan.This article refers to an investigation project that explores and analyzes the presence and characteristics of associations (taking as parameter the ethnic-regional/ national composition) of migrantes of Latin American in the area of La Plata and Gran La Plata, investigating its general dimensions, organization characteristics and deepening about the existence of criteria and strategies of identity configuration, visibilization and political participation. In this frame, we aimed here to explore the following aspects of such associations: conditions of formalization and legitimacy, nomination ways, activities that make, and comunication relations and strategies that unfold.
