The research combines exploratory, descriptive and analytical components, which allow identifying the intrinsic relationship between health care practices in nursing and the generational variable. The pandemic has shown that care networks are built in the meeting of generations of nurses, that is, new ways of conceiving the profession are promoted, and consequently their tasks. Relations between generations expose gaps in working conditions and power relations, which are expressed in a unique way during the pandemic.
