Desigualdad, territorio y agricultura familiar: Discusiones teórico-metodológicas

Abstract

El objetivo general de este artículo es aportar a la construcción de una nueva agenda de investigación sobre desigualdades en el sistema agroalimentario argentino. En particular, es nuestro interés visibilizar el rol que ocupa la agricultura familiar en la producción de dichas desigualdades. Las investigaciones a nivel internacional sostienen que una de las principales dificultades reside en el carácter oculto de muchas desigualdades. Esto implica que las mismas no se reflejan en las estadísticas tradicionales. Con este trabajo, de carácter exploratorio, buscamos indagar y proponer nuevas formas de investigar la desigualdad en este sector social y productivo. Para ello, entendemos que es necesaria una nueva perspectiva teórico-metodológica. La misma será construida desde la observación del caso argentino.The general aim of this article is to contribute to the construction of a new research agenda on inequalities for the Argentine agri-food system. In particular, our interest is to make visible the role of the family farming in the production of these inequalities. International research maintains that one of the main difficulties lies in the hidden nature of many inequalities. This implies that these are not reflected in traditional statistics. With this exploratory work, we seek to investigate and propose new ways of investigating inequality in this social and productive sector. For this, we understand that a new theoretical-methodological perspective is necessary. It will be built from the observation of the Argentine case.
