This paper explores the conformation of my current field of work and my constitution as an ethnographer. The interest in the issue of access to legal abortion is configured from a personal and biographical link, which I report from the analysis of my position as a prosecuted activist, and as a researcher trained in sociology and in the developments of feminist epistemology. My field situation delimits an existential challenge that can be thought within the framework of a multilocal sensibility as an epistemological perspective, using a multilocal technique of defining my object. Theoretical guidelines are also outlined for the ethnographic approach to abortion practices as embodied experiences, and on the other hand, as medical practices regulated by Law 27.610, understanding that the right to abortion in Argentina is the right to terminate a pregnancy with the intervention of a medical service.
