In this paper we carry out a descriptive analysis of the perceptions of violence against women (vhm) during the stage of Preventive and Mandatory Social Isolation (aspo) of the covid-19 pandemic (2020-2022) in the province of Tucumán, north from Argentina. To this end, this study presents an exploratory-descriptive design based on survey analysis. 203 women between the ages of 18 and 60 were surveyed, with the purpose of inquiring about perceptions and experiences regarding violence against women due to gender issues during the coronavirus pandemic. The analysis of the surveys showed that perceptions of violence against women are mostly associated with physical violence and secondly with psychological violence, not visualizing other types of violence such as sexual, economic, or unequal distribution of domestic chores within the home. In addition, a higher percentage of respondents stated that violence against women increased during the pandemic. The reasons for this increase are mainly associated with the isolation caused by the quarantine.
