In this work 12 specimens of three species of the family Microhylidae that occur in Paraguay were selected, with the same locomotion mode and habitat use, so that a tendinous pattern of the manus could betraced. A qualitative study of muscles and tendons of the specimens was made under a binocular microscope, determining two tendinous patterns. The first pattern, as described by other authors as G pattern, in which the flexor tendons of the fingers start directly from the flexor plate and the sesamoid is absent, was found in Elachistocleis bicolor; and the second pattern, or L pattern, characterized by the flexor tendons that leave directly from the flexor plate with embedded palmar sesamoid, is present in the species Chiasmocleis albopunctata and Dermatonotus mulleri. The first approaches do not allow to associate these patterns to ecological aspects mentioned. Future studies using the comparative method will allow deepen this subject.
