| dc.description.abstract | The article adresses Carl Schmitt’s arguments on Hamlet or Hecuba (1956) aiming to analyze the relationship between myth and politics in the modern world. It is argued that the analysis of the shakespearean work allows to critically highlight some of Schmitt’s most important theorical considerations. In that regard, the relevance of thinking about how Schmitt himself connected Hamlet with Leviathan is indicated by pointing out different organizational forms that allowed dealing with the different divisions that constituted and constitute the historical course of Europe. | es |
