Recently, conditional cash transfer programs have been widely disseminated as a public policy tool to alleviate poverty and inequality, especially in Latin American countries. This paper aims to measure the impact of the Universal Child Allowance on the health of children under five years of age in Argentina, approximated by anthropometric measures. Data from the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2019-2020 were used, and the Propensity Score Matching impact evaluation technique was employed. According to the results, no significant effect of the program was found in any of the outcome variables analyzed, so the program would not have an impact on the anthropometric measurements of the children receiving the allowance.
