The relationship between grandparents and grandchildren, is very important for both grandparents and grandchildren throughout the life cycle. At present, the role of grandparents has been changing due to the sociocultural and demographic changes that have taken place. The objective of this exploratory study is to investigate the activities and conversation topics that arise with grandparents by their adolescent grandchildren. We interviewed 35 adolescents of both sexes between 14 to 17 years old, from the province of Entre Ríos, Argentina. The interviews were conducted within the framework of a Psychology of Adolescence Project of the Faculty “Teresa de Ávila” (Catholic University of Argentina). The content analysis of the answers shows that the activities that adolescents share most with their grandparents are meals, board games, walks and talks. In turn, the most recurrent conversation topics are the studies (what adolescents do at school or what they will study in the future), followed by familiar topics, and stories lived by the grandparents.
