This methodology is applied, for the first time, to the case of Pigüé town in Buenos Aires province and reveals the percentage of tree cover buildings or other land uses. The analysis of the canopy is also complemented by an urban tree census. Overall, the study has the aim to monitor green coverage in different geographical areas.
