The literature on the relationship between the Catholic Church and the Proceso de Reorganización Nacional (1976-1983), process has focus in the positions they took their members to human rights violations. Unlike what happened with the Church in Chile and Brazil, in Argentina their representatives supported strongly repression and early State terrorism. In this article we'll discuss a little worked aspect still on the Church and it is the way in which attempted to influence educational policy of the Proceso. We shall examine the content of the newspaper Consudec was created in 1963 by the Consejo Superior de Educación Católica or CONSUDEC, as incorporated to secondary and tertiary schools and was founded at the end of the 1930s.
