The present study describes the executive functioning of primary education students, assessing the perception that teachers have of their deployment in the second cycle of primary education. Likewise, the behaviors that teachers and students put into play during the teaching of classes are detailed, in order to understand how the valued executive functions are reflected in the behavior of students and teachers in the classroom. The research is developed within the guidelines of mixed designs, with 159 students, and for the data collection an observation guide and a questionnaire with closed answers are used. The results show a trend towards greater management of executive functions throughout schooling, results that allow us to think about strategies to work them from the classroom.
