The objective of the article is to present advances of the investigation on quality indicators of the urban habitat. The Public Green Spaces (EVP) of the city of Neuquén are analyzed as a strategy for resilience to climate change. The World Health Organization (WHO, 2012) recommends that cities should have a minimum of 9m2 / hab of EVP, distributed equally, in both quantity and quality, throughout the urban fabric. Based on this, the urban endowment of EVP and its degree of equity in Neuquén territory are analyzed. The methodology used is a quantitative-qualitative combination; The formula recommended by WHO is applied and then the quality of the EVP endowment is analyzed from the perspective of the population residing in the study areas. The results reaffirm the importance of EVP attributed by citizens as an ecosystem service to improve urban metabolism, quality of life, contribute to urban resilience and minimize the effects of climate change in the North Patagonian region.
