Presencia de Dersagrena subfoveolata (Berg, 1892) (Hemiptera: Coreidae) en el cultivo de cártamo en el sur de la provincia de Buenos Aires

Abstract

Se informa aquí por primera vez sobre la presencia de Dersagrena subfoveolata (Berg, 1892) (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Coreidae) como plaga del cártamo. Se ofrecen también los resultados de las primeras observaciones biológicas y daños, así como una breve descripción y posición taxonómica de esta chinche, y fotos de esta especie, sus poblaciones y daños a la planta. Por último se amplía la distribución geográfica de esta especie a las provincias de: Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos y Río Negro.The presence of Dersagrena subfoveolata (Berg, 1892) (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Coreidae) as a pest of safflower is reported here for the first time. It also offered the results of the first biological observations and damage as well as a brief description and taxonomic status of this bug, and photos of this species, populations and damage to the plant. Finally, it extends the geographical distribution of this species to the provinces of Buenos Aires, Entre Rios and Rio Negro.
