The study of this myth, in which fecundable virginity and maternity remain suspended, allow us to trace projections about the doctrinal background of the Jewish Christianity and its peculiar appropriation from the American baroque. In this presentation, in order to observe the particular modulation that the myth of Diana, the hunter, acquire in the Argentinean poetic scene, some 20th. century texts are studied, like Alejandra Pizarnik´s Árbol de Diana (1962) and Diana Bellessi´s Danzante de doble máscara (1985) and Eroica (1988).
