The teaching given by the ancient Jesuits, in their different provinces, had a correlation that begins with the Institute’s Formula, continuing with its Constitutions, the Ratio Studiorum and royal and pontifical approvals achieved for the granting of academic degrees. The expulsion did not mean that those privileges were empirically obstructed, but on the contrary, the exile was not only from the Jesuits, but also from their ministries, such as education. For this statement, we take the example of the University of San Ignacio de Córdoba in the Viceroyalty of Peru, whose curriculum or pensum was recovered, first in Bastia and then with more certainty in Faenza. In this way, in its former headquarters in the province of Paraguay, only one confiscated building remained, empty of the content provided by its teachers and disciples. That is to say that in 1767 they had moved to another area where they continued their studies.
