In this article, we reflect on the price of labor in the unorganized popular economy based on the description of the experience of a cooperative initially formed by the Ellas Hacen program, in the city of Corrientes, Argentina. We start from a question asked by women about the correct distribution of money, to thread the analysis of existing calculations in spaces not organized by the market or by the salary relationship, to understand the disputes over the value(s) that are unfold, as well as the social relations that intervene. Using an ethnographic methodology, with prolonged field work, we managed to describe the different notions of values that are put into play from the relationship of women with the programs, we develop some clues about how economic models come to life in politics and in practices, to finally manifest the need to rethink the models that define prices, and seek to organize these sectors.
