In this communication, the linguistic skills and argumentative resources identified in the discursive interventions of students who are trained to be physics teachers are presented. These elements that structure the argumentative discourse are identified from the results obtained in a study carried out with students of Physics Didactics and which is framed in a research project that seeks to contribute to the initial training of the Natural Sciences teacher. Some reflections for the teaching of Natural Sciences are presented around the importance of these identified elements in understanding the argumentative modes of teachers in initial training.
