Current digital technologies and, particularly, the relatioship between Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Spatial Decision Support Systems (SDSS) provide important possibilities for the treatment of spatial information. Focused on the Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis, the present work addresses the discovery of spatial patterns of SocioSpatial Conditioners of Health (SCH) in the Luján river basin, Argentina. The conceptual definitions of the theoretical framework, the applied methodologies, the graphic representations and the cartographic results obtained, show a thread of successive approaches towards the modeling of the underlying spatial structures as a fundamental component of territorial planning.
