In this article we shall identify the theoretical dimensions that intercept in knowledge production and education processes, linking them with the following contributions and considerations of others authors: a) knowledge production generated from work within concrete historical contexts; b) knowledge production and subjectivity; c) knowledge production and interdisciplinary nature. Also, we account for the issues stated by professors, graduates and students that have been involved in education processes that have implied fieldwork and diverse territorial interventions; issues that make reference on how ethnographical surveys and compilations have been appropriated by other social and human disciplines, a fact that stresses the importance of scientific intersections in education processes.
