This article presents the work developed by two investigation projects located in the city of Cordoba, who study and propose vast reflections concerning social space in this Argentinean city. The Investigation Group “El llano en llamas”, of the National University of Cordoba and the Catholic University of Cordoba; and the Program “Ideology, social practices and conflicts”, of the Nacional University of Cordoba and CONICET. Such groups of scientific research and thought share space-time coordinates of their production, and certain theoretical and political concerns: the social space of Cordoba city as a field of conflict. But additionally, they both have in common a critical view of the forms of state and market management of the city, to analyze the appropriation of urban space and the logics for life reproduction that are built in it. Nevertheless, in spite of the multiple coincidences, they do not present explicit dialogues between their productions. This article is, there for, a contribution to the approaches and academic dialogues regarding Cordoba city, and intends to build a path for recognizing enunciators and their views regarding a common object of interest, that at the same time takes us back to the collective enunciators and the material conditions of production. It tries, there for, to build and link the scientific productions of these groups, and propose convergences and divergences, materialized in two books: “Eyes that don’t see hart that doesn’t feel. Territorial relocation and social conflict: a study of Neighborhood Cities in Cordoba” (2011); and the book “Strategic urbanism and class separation. Snapshots of a city in conflict” (2014). As all discourse unity (Foucault, 2005) this selection of texts entails a cut, which is never necessary and always motivated. In this sense, they 185 are two expressions of their collective work that, without “representing them”, they allow us to go/come from their discourses to back to their object of interrogation.
