The goal is to analyze the Paraná River annual cycle in Corrientes-Argentina during lower water levels historical events recorded in the last 111 years. For this, monthly mean streamflow and river level data from the 3805-Corrientes gauging station were used for the 1910-2021 period. First, the variables mean seasonality for the entire period was examined; secondly, the years with lower water levels using the 10th percentile were determined, detecting nine cases in total; thirdly, the streamflow and river level seasonality for each event was studied; and, finally, the mean annual cycle for the Paraná lower water levels events in Corrientes was estimated. In general, the hydrological variables mean seasonality for the 1910-2021 shows a maximum at the summer end (February). Subsequently, the values decrease until the spring beginning (September), and increase during that season (October-November) and summer (December-January). This behavior is replicated for the mean seasonality of the lower water levels historical events, but the streamflow and river level values are below normal throughout the year, where the months most affected are November and December. This is important because, if occur a lower water level event in the future, its variation throughout the year could be estimated in advance.
