In this paper, I present an itinerary based on four scenes that explore different relationships between listening and affectivity: hate, love, politics, and otherness. Each section focuses on various books of contemporary Argentine poetry from the past decade: Odio a la poesía objetivista, by Francisco Garamona; Vos ahora voz, by Franco Rivero; Sequía and Una bomba nos está matando a todos, by Gabriel Reches; and Martes dedo, by Alfonsina Brión. My objective is to how listening and affectivity interact in a mutually supportive manner, examining the formal and compositional effects in these texts. As a working hypothesis, I propose that listening establishes a form of connection with the other within the poems. Methodologically, I draw on the studies of Florencia Garramuño and Luciana di Leone on poetry and affectivity. Additionally, I refer to the theories on listening, primarily from Jean-Luc Nancy and Peter Szendy. This article contributes to the field of Argentine poetry criticism by presenting an itinerary through specific books, while also suggesting that the issue raised can be considered transversally as a potential compositional approach in contemporary poetry.
