In this article we present the catalog of prehistoric animal models marketed by Chrétien Vetter from Hamburg, Germany, towards the end of the 19th century. These models are housed in the Geography Department of the Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires (CNBA), one of the oldest secondary and pre-university educational institutions in Argentina. The Vetter Models collection is unique, and almost nothing is known about this individual and his company, which distributed natural history pieces to museums, natural history galleries, and schools/universities around the world during the second half of the 19th century.
