The period of democratic transition involved the reconfiguration of state and legal field. Human rights were the flag of justice claim and turned Argentina into a paradigmatic example internationally. This historical period also gave rise to the interference of various international legal trends to promote social changes that eventually came together in pursuit of the consolidation of democracy and the rule of law. The objective of this paper is to analyze the historical genesis and content of various strands of international law, including the "Public Interest Litigation", the "Law and Development", "Human Rights" and "Alternative Rights" and adaptation and influence in Argentina's own time immediately following the restoration of democracy.
