As part of the inauguration of the own self view and the world’s view that accompany the awakening of the "American" selfconsciousness, they are designed the basic guidelines and axial categories of the emancipatory discourse. Beyond the inherent ambiguity of the concept of nation, the form of political statement configured in the discourse of emancipation articulates the diagnosis and the political project of independence with the universalist principles of free and equal human nature, without neglecting the necessary critique of colonialist and Eurocentric assumptions of Enlightenment rationality, which also participated American revolutionary vanguard, in their own way and with their reserves and specificities.
