In this article we present advances in research carried out in a special education school located in a town in the first cordon of the Metropolitan Region of Buenos Aires. In this regard, we inquire about the conditions, in pandemic times, in which teaching practices are deployed in response to the processes of inclusion of students with disabilities in public secondary schools located in contexts of urban poverty. Teaching practices in general were hampered due to the lack of presence in schools and the scarce resources that both teachers and students had to get through these times. In particular, the schooling processes of students with disabilities were doubly affected, both by disability and by urban contexts marked by structural poverty and environmental degradation. Therefore, from a qualitative research approach, through in-depth interviews and semi-structured surveys, we investigate the micro-details of the teaching practices deployed in times of COVID-19. This matters insofar as it offers a multiple and intersectional view that intersects disability with urban poverty that provides conclusive data on the materialities in which, during the pandemic, the processes of inclusion in common education schools developed. These data make it possible to visualize the conditions of inequality in which the right to education of the group is guaranteed and which health measures must be taken into account for the return to the presence of this school year.
