This article seeks to analyze the main transformations in the regulatory framework of the public natural gas service, the dynamics of the main tariff conflicts in the gas chain and their Patagonian specificities, knowing the relationship between the State and Camuzzi Gas del Sur. Due to climatic characteristics and distribution of its population, this region presents an intensive use of this service; for this reason, it has had a particular regulatory and tariff treatment that it is intended to study, at the time of knowing how these specificities have impacted both production and rate evolution and residential consumption.
