Itinerarios terapéuticos de personas con discapacidad: urgentes, ralentizados y a los tumbos

Abstract

El artículo aborda los itinerarios terapéuticos de personas con discapacidad en el conglomerado Gran La Plata, de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina en el período comprendido entre 2021 y 2024. Se recuperan narrativas con el fin de comprender y hacer inteligibles los modos en que construyen ideas sobre vidas, interconexiones con otras experiencias vitales y pulsos comunes. Reconociendo junto a Vasilachis (2017) que las narrativas son una actividad social, un medio para dar sentido y forma a la experiencia; y agregamos que su textura se inserta en percepciones temporales que identifican caminos, giros y tumbos. Se presentan los resultados de una investigación cualitativa financiado por el CONICET1 en la que se exploraron e interpretaron experiencias en el sector salud de jóvenes y adultos en situación de discapacidad a partir de entrevistas. En un primer momento presentaremos reflexiones de las categorías de trayectorias, itinerarios y narrativas. Luego ideas en relación a la discapacidad en salud y en un tercer momento los hallazgos de la investigación. Las trayectorias son significadas y narradas a partir de tumbos, urgencias y ralentizaciones en las que la configuración de barreras junto a la burocratización de gestiones en las obras sociales, les hace sentir a los tumbos.The article addresses the therapeutic itineraries of people with disabilities in the Gran La Plata conglomerate, in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina in the period between 2021 and 2024. Narratives are recovered in order to understand and make intelligible the ways in which they construct ideas about lives, interconnections with other life experiences and common pulses. Acknowledging with Vasilachis (2017) that narratives are a social activity, a means to give meaning and shape to experience; and we add that their texture is embedded in temporal perceptions that identify paths, twists and turns. We present the results of a qualitative research funded by CONICET in which experiences in the health sector of young people and adults with disabilities were explored and interpreted through interviews. First we will present reflections on the categories of trajectories, itineraries and narratives. Then ideas in relation to disability in health and in a third moment the findings of the research. The trajectories are signified and narrated on the basis of the stumbles, urgencies and slowdowns in which the configuration of barriers together with the bureaucratisation of procedures in the social works, make them feel as if they are in a stumbling block.
