In this paper we intend to analyze the work of the authors who, following the tracks of postestructuralism, ha ve reintroduced topics that constantly reemerge in our own reading of texts, and constitute the basic conceptual matrix of scholarly debates in the present. We seek to rethink the place oftheory, in order to reforrnulate the nuclei of our teaching practice. The departure point for our research is the problematic and tense coincidence between contemporary theory·s and philosophy · s concems or interests, on the one hand, and students · s concems, interests and expectations in their initial literary courses, on the other. These basic concems are: the relationship between aesthetics, politics and literature, the idea of literary autonomy, and, finally, the inscription o configuration of subjectivity in artistic practices.
