This paper approaches the articulation between gender and companies recovered from the case of a fishing factory located in the city of Necochea-Quequén: the Engraucoop cooperative. The group of workers of this self-managed company of the canned fish is made up of a majority of women, exactly as this productive sector was characterized from its origins. This produced specific effects on the redefinitions in the production, the factory management and the productive sphere, in which the generic-sexual dimension had the most repercussions. Through a field work that involved interviews, non-participant observations and analysis of diverse documentary sources, we will address the characteristics that workers management assumed taking into account four topics: the field of production, the decision-making devices and direction organisms, their productive field and workers‟ self-assessment. The results obtained show a continuity with conclusions of previous research on the subject and also its questioning, so they provided new considerations to take into account for the study of these type of cases.
