The aim of this paper is to recover the figures and works of three women writers who were selected by Juan Ramón Jiménez in the “Hidden Poetry” project, the anthology of poems by authors from Argentina and Uruguay that he devised on his trip to these countries, in 1948, and which was never published. We will focus on the influence of the poetics of the Spanish bard on the compositions of Helena Muñoz Larreta, Mabel Fernández Chalá and Sara Reboul, reviewing the context of Argentine poetry of the 1940s and drawing brief sketches of the subsequent trajectories that the three developed.
