It is interesting in this work to analyze the characteristics that rural community tourism acquires in this region of Argentina. Specifically, the case of the Rural Tourism Farmer (RTC) will be addressed, whose community management is presented as an alternative to development and, consequently, generates a (re) articulation of rural families, those that the system had excluded. In particular, the representations that peasants have regarding “tourism as an excuse” will be analyzed, in relation to the labor market and the improvement of living conditions. Likewise, it is interesting to address how the territory is revalued in terms of tourism and how this new social actor promotes it, resignifying the socio-productive practices in the aforementioned rural space.
