This paper addresses the emotional aspects and skills built within a learning community designed and developed with a group of college students participating in a workshop of graphic production during 2015. In order to learn more about the affective dimension and skills that students built in context, interviews were conducted and skills Questionnaire on Perceived (Paoloni & Rinaudo, 2015) was administered. The results show that the most perceived abilities were aimed at those who tried to promote from the workshop as those relating to the process of writing a journalist, developing more turn themselves regarding socio-emotional skills. These results allow us to understand that the design of a learning community as a potential context, it is necessary to pay attention to working with promising and genuine tasks such as the development and promotion of socio-affective aspects.
