In the light of the Affect Theory and adopting a gender perspective from which to assume a critical position regarding the relationship between the discourses coming from artistic practices and hegemonic social discourses, this paper studies the trilogy “El amor es un francotirador” by Lola Arias, in order to show how real tensions fiction, creating paradoxical, contradictory and dystopian situations. The intervention of mimesis through the real accentuates the apocalyptic paradigm of the end of the century while building, from the dream, new incipient territories of renewal and struggle.
