From theories of intertextuality (specifically of quotations), we will study the use of Latin authors, specifically Virgil‟s, who lends his words for the narratio of exile, urban description, etc. These mechanisms, which control possible readings, are also a powerful operator that links the voices of tradition with the construction of a writing space and validates the new text, demonstrating the competence of the user of this practice.
